More attention has bαλ een drawn to the indust∑♣ry and outside.
"The energy Internet is a hi★∑gh degree of integration of& multiple types of e"∞≈nergy networks and tranε€<sport networks" "©₽$The basic concept of the energy Intern↕™ et and smart grid is the s λame, and the content can not be f±α$♥ound in principle diff₽₩erent" "The energyδ¶ Internet is The energy Iβ₹nternet is a strong sma →rt grid with ultra-high voltage gr&♥>id as the backbone (channel), witε★h clean energy transmission as the lΩeading, global interconnection aΩ÷£☆nd ubiquitous," varα♥®•ious understandings and int>≥♠erpretations of the e←'¶'nergy Internet have appeared, and☆±♥ people are not sure what to thi↑♠≈nk about it.
Energy Internet concept was borΩ★σn ten years ago
From 22 to 24 April, at the foot of F&₹★λragrant Hill in Beijing, a number™ of academicians and more than 50 exper↔λ÷ts and scholars participated in a™±n academic conference on the theme of energy Internet. ↕'Conference parties on the concept ↔< ↔and structure of the energy Inte§αλrnet, energy Internet operatio§φn mechanism and market model✔↔σ and other topics for in-depth↕α discussion, which is so far China&σβ₩#39;s academic community for the enγ®ergy Internet at the highest lev×∑♠el of a seminar meeting.
When did the concept of energy₩$ Internet come into being? Cao Junwei, ∏ ¥a researcher at Tsinghua Unα÷≈Ωiversity's Institute of Inf&♣ormation Technology, who has long bee★♦£↔n engaged in cross-di↑∏₩sciplinary research on information a£'εnd energy and power t―•echnologies, believes that in≈© 2004, The Economist magazine p >ublished an article →↔↑called "buildingtheenergyinter₽♣net", which is the e§∑arliest literature to formally put "®©±forward this viewpoin→→t.
In 2008, Thomas Friedman, a fam∑≠ous American journali ∏≥♣st and winner of three Pβ$↑↕ulitzer Prizes for journalism, introdu<<←ced the energy internet in his mon×♦÷ograph "The World is Hot, Flat ∏±and Crowded", whi∏♣₩∑ch is also the initial exploration of ≈♣♥the energy internet at tφ he economics level.
Explorations at the λ↔✔technical level also took place '↔around 2008, when German→y put forward the E-&©ENERGY programme, with an investment€ε of about 140 million euros, to make fδull use of information a'↑÷nd communication technologλ®↕ies to solve the new problems faceε₹≥d by the future power system dominate€✔₽∑d by distributed energy suppl♥§ →y, with the aim of creating a brand n ₩<ew energy Internet from the '♦×distribution network to ×≠≤$the circulating power grid€∞.
In 2009, in the U.S. city of Dubuq•β✔φue, IBM and the government began§↓ to build the first smart ♦☆city with an intelligent energ$ε£y network, in order to create a ≥±connection between all the res±☆"ources of the city, incδσ↔luding water, electricity, oil, gasα>, transport, public services and ∑&so on.
The energy Internet has attracted ✘Ω÷∑widespread attention&×♣☆ in the country, probably more÷↓ because of Rifkin's b☆∏✔ook "The Third Industrial≈₽ ✔ Revolution", which imagines t↓→πhat "in the upcoming era, wα↑e will need to create an 'en♥£>ergy Internet', so tha$✔δt hundreds of millions o ₹€αf people can produce green renew¶✘able energy in their homes, α offices and factories"σ§€. green renewable energy.σ&λ"
The concept became more widel∑♣∏y known when Liu Zhenya, Chairma♦'∞n of State Grid Corp☆¶oration, put forward th₽γe idea of "buildingγ↓ a global energy internet to serve t ≈β±he sustainable development of human soc±₹iety" at an academic conf'✘erence in Washington, D.C., in $ελ2014.
Different Perspectives on the £>✘Energy Internet
Liu Zhenya proposed §'in his book "Global Energy Intγ★α↓ernet" that the global energy★ Internet is compose™↔ε↕d of transcontinental≤' and transnational backbone $≠<grids and power grids o ←βf various voltage levels '¥→Ωin various countries, connect ♠ing "one pole and one road&Ω∞quot; (the Arctic and th≥α e Equator) with large energy bases, ad↓'↓apting to the needs of acce✘≤ssing various distribu≠ ♣ted power sources, and beλ>★ ing able to transmit renewable energy ∑×sources such as wind eneε rgy, solar energy and ocean ener☆₩π₽gy to various types of↕¥ users, as well as providing ↔a service for the sustainable develoγ↔pment of human society. It can >δ↓£transmit renewable eε'nergy such as wind energy, solar↓←♥ energy and ocean energy to vario←©₹us types of users, and is a gloδ©bal energy allocation platform wi♠→₽th a wide range of services, stron÷♣ g configuration capability✘ , high safety and reliability, π↑"and green and low-carbon.
"The energy Inter★↑λnet in my mind is a comprehensi↓<ve energy network composed of physic↓♣al systems, namely the power grid, gas ₹¥network, heat network, tran♥↕sport network, etc." Xu÷♦'e Yusheng, academici∑★"₹an of the Chinese Academy of Engineer≈↔♦↑ing and honorary presidσ↔¶≈ent of the State Grid Electric Power A ∏cademy, also offered his vα'iews.
Professor Yu Zitao↑¶λ, director of the Institute o♣β®f Thermal Engineering and Power Sysπ♥÷₹tems at Zhejiang University ÷¶&, believes that the deve∞εlopment of a high-efficiency energy £™↑network will take the route←♦ of high-efficiency φφgradient utilisation, in which thΩ♠>e energy of systems that can indep₽endently output electr"∞≤←icity, heat and cold ≠←<will be used in a gradient manne∏←r, so that the comprehensive ∏ ♥utilisation rate will reach m∞✘≥ore than 90%.
Academician Yu Yixin, on ± the other hand, said that the ∏$±basic concepts of theφα energy Internet and the smartγ∞ σ grid that we have a¥∞lready discussed are the ↔same, and the content can not b↔♥≈e found to be different in principl"""↔e, including intellig§≤₽∏ent universal transformers such as el♦βπ$ectrical energy routeδ<βrs.
"Due to the diff™$erent perspectives that everyone∑₩Ω stands on, different understandin↕≠gs and views are genera♣↓ted, but from the acad§↕≥≤emic level, it is not posλ ←÷sible to distinguish who is right ₽★☆and who is wrong, because the >♣&work can be carried out from diffe♥☆>$rent levels." Cao∑®★★ Junwei told reporters that th←←<e development and construction of£π the energy Internet is a co♥✔mplex systematic project, which∏ needs to start from the systemΩ™♥Ω architecture, technology resea☆÷>rch and development, standards de↑φ★velopment, policy design and♠β other aspects and links, a← nd the way should be to ta♦"ke the road of hierarchical grading★¥£≤, from small scale to£≠ large scale, from simple to compl↔εex, from experimental to demonst§≈ration, and then to the maturity of ∏¥the promotion.
SmartGrid or SmarterGrid
Although there are a lot of vi ∏ews on the energy Internet, there is a↑∑$n obvious common point§$≥™ is that the smart grid will play ≥♣an important role in building t"∑↑he energy Internet, s₽Ω÷₽o understanding the content of tα✘≈he smart grid is crucial to understφ®≠anding the energy Internet.✔¶σ
In fact, the industry and outside the₩€σ• concept of smart grid und₽↔♠♥erstanding has long existed differen βφγt views, whether it is→↓ smartgrid or smartergrid (smarter g≠©rid), people have thei₩α♠r own views.
"The essence ofΩα the smart grid should be opt←±imisation. The future of the grid÷←∑λ, we can not rely mainly on peop✘εle scheduling, must be throughγ& $ information technology and computer Ωγscience for automati¥ββ•c regulation and control, to achieve ♥≈ the whole power system completelyα≈ closed loop. For example, the cu ↕rrent scheduling in Shanghai, has®∏↑ been initially done.&q<®uot; Lu Qiang, an acΩ$ademician of the Chinese Academy of Sπ←δciences and a professor at Tsinghua U☆&<niversity, put forward the φε>concept of smart grid with hy§→÷brid cybernetics, argui♠ng that the entry of communication↕¶δ and mathematics into the class↓♠₹ical power system gave riα"se to the third industrial rδ≠evolution of the powe®¥r system, which gave rise→≈₹ to the smart power system.
"By 2020 the St×∞✘ate Grid Corporation wil •l have fully built a unified γ∏×'strong smart grid' wiλ≠βth technology and equipεφ"ment fully reaching the internat₽•ional advanced level.&"₽quot; According to Sh↓✔u Yinbiao, general mana ¶ger of the State Grid<≤÷ Corporation, China's smarε σ&t grid includes six links in the ↔βφ←power system, namely power ge>λneration, transmissi₩≈on, substation, distributi Ω✔on, power consumption and dispat≤®ching, and is charactδ€←©erised by the "smart♠"" technologies of info±≥πrmatisation, digitisation★¶₹", automation and interaction. &™>China's smart grid is first o₹ α¶f all a strong power grid, in which, Ω©with a long distance, large capacity δ™transmission characte€®★"ristics of the ultra-high voltage←♣ grid will become the core γ<€link, which is determi≠>ned by the stage of China's ∞®¥ economic development, the centr↔α♦πalised distribution of energy char ♣δacteristics.
"Smart grid is a development g♦&oal." Academician of the Chinese $π™ Academy of Engineering, the So♥♠₹uthern Power Grid Corp₹≥oration Expert Committee Director✘€ & Li Li Li, said in an inte§↔♠rview with reporters, the dev∑σelopment of energy and elect"∏ricity have 3 laws to follow, includi✔<₽±ng the law of science andγ> technology development, theΩ± law of social develop&✘ment and the law of market developm≤¶ent.
China's famous power syste↓≤♣¶m analysis, planning and simul©∑ation experts, academician of ε♣÷★the Chinese Academy of Engineering Yu Y→∑γ©ixin believes that the smart grid→÷≤ will change the way people ∑₹live and work like the Internet,₹∞λγ the realization of the≥≈ smart grid requires a long trans↕€€ition, sustained research and λ§✘∏development and a variety •&✘of technologies for long-term'λλ coexistence.
What is certain is t♦∏hat in the context of the third indust ↔rial revolution, the×∏ integration of power grid and informat♠™ion technology is an in£≤₽≠evitable trend, whetσ₹εher we focus on the current smarterg♠×≈αrid or our ideal smartgrid, to cr∞¥eate a highly efficient grid will b✔≥≠e the core content of the energy Inte✘♥•rnet.
The impact of Internet thinking on en× ₽ergy
Energy is a traditional indus'∞δtry, the Internet is an emergi₽♥©ng industry, the integration of✔>₹ the two will certainly bring the c≈♥oncept of collision, the concept of ch≈∞φange may be the beginni✔€ng of technical and institutio©×nal change.
"The traditional power iπ♦©ndustry by the natural monopol≈εy characteristics and security constra©✘α∏ints, the sensitivity of inform☆★ation technology is not e&∏♦nough." Li Li Li academician inte€≥↓rviewed by a reporter expressed✔±• such a view.
"If the grid intelligent or in ׶♦Ωthe traditional grid archite∑←δcture through information δ≈technology and intelligent¶≈ means, to solve the problem ofπ'δ• equipment utilisation, securit•←'↓y and reliability, power quality a↔←nd renewable energy access, the★±•¶ fundamental differe¶>&nce between the energy I'&↕nternet is the use of Internet co&•£₽ncepts, methods and technologies to ←↔achieve a major change in the energy in©∏'frastructure architecture itself♠∑, making the energy of op$₽✘±en interconnection and exchange Sharin¶£♠®g can be as convenient as sharin₹<₹g information on the Internet.&qu ¥®ot; Cao Junwei said.
Openness, interconnection, re"Ω'ciprocity and sharing are the→䧱 characteristics of Internet£÷™ thinking, while the traditional eα↑★nergy industry places more emphas¥§βis on production, professionali♠βγ sm and security. A numbγ♠σer of experts believe that the γ•development of distributed energy has g♥σiven the energy industry an oppor∞↕δ↑tunity to transform, with the✘★ traditional power industry emphas¥✘ ↔ises the development & mode of generation, transmissio•←n, distribution and transform¶≈→ation, distributed ener✘★gy makes the energy flow, power flo>♦∏w changes, the operation of the loφ<cal microgrid needs to≈£♥' be open, sharing and ♥γσother concepts embed≈§ded in the energy and p®₩ower industry needs to fa∞×♥ce.
The Internet is invisib±←le and borderless, and the devλ≠ $elopment of energy Int±'ernet will also be open and ± ceilingless, only a ₹§≥φlarge amount of innovation a¶×γnd practice will bring about a >₹brand new energy industry.
