More ε≤≠attention has been d ∑↑↓rawn to the industry and εβoutside.
"The energy Internet is ∞"a high degree of integration ♣™πof multiple types of energy networ≠≈ ks and transport netwo↓βrks" "The basic concept of th§"e energy Internet and smart grid is €÷"φthe same, and the content can not be €found in principle different&quo™ t; "The energy Intern≤₹↑βet is The energy Internet is a stro$γ¥ng smart grid with ultra-high ↑∑πvoltage grid as the backbone (c≥$hannel), with clean energy tran<€® smission as the leading, global ™Ω✘interconnection and ubiquitous," v✔$&×arious understandings and interpret€©₩ations of the energyα$$∞ Internet have appeared, and peo>≠βple are not sure what to think about←α• it.
Energy Internet concept w ×as born ten years ago
From 22 to 24 April, at the foot o∞α$f Fragrant Hill in Beijing, a nσ→ umber of academicians anβd more than 50 experts and schol♠'✘←ars participated in an academic conf ¶erence on the theme of energy Inte≠rnet. Conference partiΩ♠es on the concept and structur€ε→ e of the energy Inter ✔net, energy Internet operation₩✔₩ mechanism and market model and×&€ other topics for in-depth discussio±™₹n, which is so far China'®¥;s academic community for the£ •₽ energy Internet at the hi$Ωghest level of a seminar meeting.
When did the concept of en∞γ∑ergy Internet come into being? Cao Ju★α♦↕nwei, a researcher at Ts©★×inghua University's ↑σ Institute of Inform₹∞ §ation Technology, who has long be ÷™¶en engaged in cross-disciplina>✘₩ry research on information and energε£₽y and power technologies, bβφ¶elieves that in 2004, The Economist mag↑™azine published an artic₩㶕le called "buildingthe§☆×≥energyinternet", which is ♦↕the earliest literature to formally pλ∏↓ut forward this viewpoint.
In 2008, Thomas Friedman, a≤∏φ famous American journalist₽&™φ and winner of three≥&$γ Pulitzer Prizes for jouσ→±rnalism, introduced the energy internet ↑φ÷ in his monograph "The €>≠World is Hot, Flat and Crowδ ∏ded", which is also tβγ☆€he initial exploration of the ener§÷↔gy internet at the economics le∑™σ vel.
Explorations at the technical l€ ∞≥evel also took place around 2008, when πλ≥Germany put forward the E-ENERG©§✘Y programme, with an investme✘≤nt of about 140 million euros, tα≈o make full use of informat✔∏ε★ion and communication technologie≤'s to solve the new problems fa™₽ced by the future power¥≤★< system dominated by distribute₽×↕d energy supply, with the aim of β¥≈creating a brand new →β¶energy Internet from the distribut♦>ion network to the circulating power ≠≠•∏grid.
In 2009, in the U.S. city of Dubu★§que, IBM and the govern ↕ment began to build the first smart ci£₽★©ty with an intelligent enδ&<♠ergy network, in order to create×↑ a connection between all t>§'he resources of the city, including wat✔λer, electricity, oil, gas, transport, π ¥public services and so on.
The energy Internet has aε ₹↕ttracted widespread a←♠β÷ttention in the country¥π, probably more because of Riσ→¶fkin's book "The Thir☆™∞™d Industrial Revolution™≥↔'", which imagines that &qu↑&'♣ot;in the upcoming era, w± £e will need to create an ' ≤energy Internet', so that h£β≤€undreds of millions of p☆$ eople can produce greeε☆σ n renewable energy in their homes, ©∑offices and factories". green£≥∞' renewable energy."
The concept became more ₩>€widely known when Liu Zhenya, Ch☆δπairman of State Grid C¥$β↕orporation, put forward the idea of €ε≤₹"building a global♦§♣Ω energy internet to serve the sustainab•♥ ≠le development of hu☆ σman society" at an ac♦"ademic conference in Washin¥γ gton, D.C., in 2014.
Different Perspectivβ $es on the Energy Interne€↔"•t
Liu Zhenya proposed in his book ε→•≠"Global Energy Internet" thεat the global energy Internet is♦→≤€ composed of transcontinental and t↑₩ransnational backbone grids and pφ×÷δower grids of various voltage levels i'®n various countries, con↑↔necting "one pole and oδne road" (the Arctic andΩ♦α¥ the Equator) with large energy bases, ↕α↑ adapting to the needs of acce₽ε♥ssing various distributed power sourc€¶es, and being able to transm→••it renewable energy sources su£$ ch as wind energy, solar ener>←gy and ocean energy to various typeα¶≠s of users, as well as providi≤ ∞×ng a service for the sustainablγΩαe development of human society♣∏"$. It can transmit renewa≥σ±£ble energy such as wind energy, solar ←≠energy and ocean energy to various type βs of users, and is a global ener×✘'gy allocation platform with a wide✔γ≤ range of services, strong confi∏'÷∞guration capability, high saf★↑ety and reliability, and green an£←d low-carbon.
"The energy Interne©↔®→t in my mind is a comprehens •§¶ive energy network c'♠omposed of physical systems, namely thΩσ↓e power grid, gas network, hea±•t network, transport network, etc.&quo©♦↔t; Xue Yusheng, acade≤δmician of the Chinese Academy of Engi ↑✘neering and honorary pr€✘€₹esident of the State Grid Elφ↕ectric Power Academy, also offered≈$♠ his views.
Professor Yu Zitao, dire ♠ctor of the Institute of Thermal γEngineering and Power Systems ✔≤at Zhejiang University, beli×γeves that the develop™♥€↑ment of a high-efficiency energy δφnetwork will take the route of∑ high-efficiency gradient utilisation, ©∏₽in which the energy of systems that can '®" independently output elect≤★ricity, heat and cold will be use ♥£d in a gradient manner, so tha♥€t the comprehensive utilisation r •φate will reach more than 90%.
Academician Yu Yixin, on ≠✘☆ the other hand, said that<δ¥ the basic concepts of the energy ΩInternet and the smart g≥φ§rid that we have already discussed ar★e the same, and the ←ε★&content can not be found to be diff₹≤εerent in principle, iε↑ncluding intelligent universal transfor' mers such as electri§®"±cal energy routers.
"Due to the different pers↕α pectives that everyone stands on,÷© different understandings ↔<♣and views are generated, but from th≤' e academic level, it ★Ωλis not possible to distinguish who "★ ↓is right and who is wrong, be÷<§¶cause the work can be carried out∏₩σ$ from different levels." λ₩ Cao Junwei told reporters±→ that the developmen¥¥δ≈t and construction of the energy Inte→± rnet is a complex systematicΩ ♦σ project, which needs to start frα≈λom the system architecture &₹, technology research and developmγλ>÷ent, standards development, policy d↕₹esign and other aspects and links★$ε₩, and the way should σ♠be to take the road of ×≠hierarchical grading, from small sc≥'©&ale to large scale, from si✘≥mple to complex, from experime↕×₩₹ntal to demonstratio±n, and then to the mπ &Ωaturity of the promotion£'.
SmartGrid or SmarterGrid
Although there are a lot<™ of views on the energy Internet, ther<↔♦¥e is an obvious common point is that tε♣βhe smart grid will play an impor×☆®★tant role in buildin✘®€g the energy Internetε™, so understanding the content of the ¥<≠±smart grid is crucial to und× erstanding the energy×↔♥ Internet.
In fact, the industry and §→outside the concept of smart gr§'←€id understanding has long existed d&←ifferent views, whether it is smar★Ω₽©tgrid or smartergrid≠ ± (smarter grid), peo>∑πple have their own views.
"The essence of the smart &®§∏grid should be optim₽§isation. The future of the grid, φwe can not rely mainly on peopβ∏le scheduling, must be th₩↔∏Ωrough information technology☆≠ and computer sciencε♥e for automatic regulati↕αon and control, to achieve the wh₩±δole power system completel→✘¶y closed loop. For examδ∑ple, the current scheduling in Shanghai> , has been initially done.&qγ×uot; Lu Qiang, an aca©demician of the Chinese Aca'♠§Ωdemy of Sciences and a professorΩ×↓ at Tsinghua University, p ≤ut forward the concept of smart grid wi£γπth hybrid cybernetics, argui"×ng that the entry of comm<σunication and mathematics♣☆ into the classical power system gav&e rise to the third in↔↕←dustrial revolution of the power•< ≈ system, which gave rise t♦¥∑o the smart power system.
"By 2020 the State Grid Corpor∑ ♠÷ation will have fully built a u¶"nified 'strong smart αγgrid' with technology and equip§™ment fully reaching th∏±≥®e international advanced le€♣±≈vel." According to Shu Yinbiao, g↓★¥eneral manager of the Stat★↔ ™e Grid Corporation, ChinaΩ✘β9;s smart grid includes six l∏γφ inks in the power system, na€×•mely power generation, transm™§→εission, substation, distribution,✘↓ power consumption and dispatching,×₹ and is characterised by the →•♦↔"smart" techno$∞£αlogies of informatisation, digiti♠®∏✘sation, automation and'∞ interaction. China↑λ↕39;s smart grid is fα₹irst of all a strong p←γ≤ower grid, in which, with a long dista×≈nce, large capacity tranπ∏smission characteristics&÷ of the ultra-high voltage grid will b ≈ecome the core link, w☆✔hich is determined by ♥ the stage of China's economi• ¥c development, the ce₽•±×ntralised distribution of energy☆γ÷ characteristics.
"Smart grid is a development"≥ goal." Academician of tφ ₽σhe Chinese Academy of Engineering→≤<, the Southern Power Grid Corp₩<oration Expert Committee Director ≤≤¥λLi Li Li, said in an §•interview with reporters, th♣₩δ§e development of ener₹gy and electricity hav™ε¥e 3 laws to follow, including the la™♥w of science and technology" Ω development, the law of social devel∞•ασopment and the law of m¶↑arket development.
China's famous power system analyΩδ✘sis, planning and simulation ©↑experts, academician of the Chi₹δnese Academy of Engineering Yu Yixin be✔≥•✔lieves that the smart grid will ∏®∞change the way peopl★±≠e live and work like th≠≠e Internet, the realization of§€£ the smart grid requi≤♣←res a long transition, sustainπ•ed research and development and a ↓★<variety of technologies for long-term ∞βcoexistence.
What is certain is that in th→×≥e context of the third industrial re ↑φ≥volution, the integrati♠®on of power grid and informΩ&απation technology is an inevitable ≤≥§ trend, whether we focus on th♣←<e current smartergrid or our idea₹★€¶l smartgrid, to create a highly ef±∑≥✘ficient grid will be the corπ¥★e content of the energy Internα&et.
The impact of Internet thinking on®★₩↑ energy
Energy is a traditional indust ≈≈ry, the Internet is an emerging>φ industry, the integra tion of the two will ce©>€φrtainly bring the concept of co≥★llision, the concept of change may≥< be the beginning of tec€©hnical and institutional change.
"The traditional power industry↓☆♦≤ by the natural monopoly characteri≈∏∑&stics and security constraints, th↔>e sensitivity of inf"λ✔∑ormation technology is δΩ¬ enough." Liπ∏ Li Li academician interviewed by a reporter expressed such a •>view.
"If the grid i∑♣€γntelligent or in the traditional grid ✔♦architecture through inf®ormation technology and int$¶™≈elligent means, to solve the probl↕&εem of equipment utilisation, securit♥€φy and reliability, power quality and β<& renewable energy access<♠, the fundamental difference between th ∏e energy Internet is the✘•☆ use of Internet concepts, metho<★$€ds and technologies to ach♣∞★≠ieve a major change i§₹∞n the energy infrast©£≈ructure architecture itsel ≥f, making the energy of open in©πterconnection and exchan >α♣ge Sharing can be as convenient as s★₹↕™haring information on the®÷★ Internet." Cao Junwei said ↓.
Openness, interconnectio∞§n, reciprocity and sharing are βλδ<the characteristics of Internet thi$♦nking, while the traditiφ onal energy industry places mor™ ₽e emphasis on productionΩ&, professionalism and security. A ♣✘number of experts belie→•≠∑ve that the development of ™↑↔distributed energy has give™™n the energy industry anλΩ↓& opportunity to transform, ↔$with the traditional power industry e✔♥¶λmphasises the development mode of g♦∑£"eneration, transmission, distrσ↑ibution and transformation, ∑δ✘§distributed energy makes the energ≈γ•₩y flow, power flow chang₹≤es, the operation of the loca↔↓l microgrid needs to ♥Ωbe open, sharing and other concepts em©∑δbedded in the energy an≤><d power industry needs to face.∞☆±
The Internet is invisible and bor♥≠₽←derless, and the developmenΩ•φt of energy Internet will also ←¶∑be open and ceilingless,αφ only a large amount of inno¶™vation and practice will b↔¥ ring about a brand new energy i♥∑ndustry.
