China North Locomotive Changchun Rai♣$lway Coach Company Limited (&quo≤∏β¥t;Changke") is an δ>early developer of moder'↑γn trams in China, and its s↔™elf-developed low-floor mod←©ern trams have been λ§successfully operated in ®↕δαAugust 2013 in Hunnan New District↕€↓ of Shenyang, including 70% low-floor v↕€↑ehicles and 100% low-floor vehicl✘∑₩es. In May 2013, Changke buα§¶ilt a "manufacturing and r<σ≈∞epair base" in Hefei Hi-Tech Zone✔₽ to develop, design and manufact÷✘¥ure urban rail vehicles,<× intercity rail vehicles, modern tα&♥rams, low-floor light rail v¶ γehicles and other products. It is lear₩∞←nt that Changke will al₹✔φ®so build a modern trσ★am production base in Shanghai. Longbus•♦ is also expected to obt€±ain orders for modern tra≈Ω♥m projects in Shangha®₩βi and Zhengzhou.

Dalian Locomotive: Ground Power Supply  π"Braidless" Operation

In October 2012, Dalian Locomotiveφ•  & Rolling Stock Co., ₽✘®♦Ltd. of CSR Group (Dal¶&ian Locomotive for short) signe★§™d a technology introduε€ction cooperation agreement wα‌λΩith Ansaldo Breda of Italy, introduc≤€​←ing the "braidless&qu ★ot; modern tram and ground power s♣✔upply system technolo☆ gy, which is popular in Europe, to₹¶©↔ China for the first time. Dalian Ω≤↕Locomotive signed the technol₩→<ogy introduction cooperat←✔ion agreement with Ansaldo Barreda of ₽↔ Italy. In March 2012, D<¥✘alian Locomotive started λ÷the construction of the first d≠↔↑φomestic production base of modeδσ≠εrn tram and ground power ÷☆supply system in Zhuhai, which w↕"¥$ill be put into production in 201≈Ω‍β4 with a localisation ÷↔• rate of over 80%. Currently, Dalian∞←→δ Locomotive is constructi↑₩ng Zhuhai modern tram line 1 project i♣'∑₽n BT mode. in September 2≥γ®013, Dalian Locomotive wo≥•n the bidding of Beijing Xijiao LinΩγπe modern tram vehicle procureme®®nt project, which will provide₹& ☆ 31 100% low-floor modern trams for↕‍ Xijiao Line. And Da★ §lian Locomotive will also build aλ☆♠ modern tram for the ≥<±city of Dalian in May 2014 to run on±€ the streets of Dalian first.

CSR Tangshan Railway Coach: Internatεφ∑φional Design and Exp​→ort to Overseas

The modern trams of China CNR Tangsh☆≤∞an Railway Coach Co., Ltd ("CNR β"™Tangshan") are jointly designe•"d with LOGOMOTIVE, and CNR Tangshan ow£∏ns completely independent i€♣φ×ntellectual property "→‌↓rights on the technologies $♣ including bogies. 2010, CNR Tangshan in≈✔♠vested and took a controlling stake ‍α<σin Quanzhou, Fujian Province to ↑↔↔αset up CNR Quanzhou Company to manufac↑✔γ≠ture modern trams, and agreeσδ₽₽d with Quanzhou City to build moderλ n tram lines in Quanzhou City in BT ∑Ωβ₽mode. In 2010, CNR-Tangzhou invested a↕™₽nd took a controlling sta​♦ke in the establishment of CNR Q↕←±$uanzhou in Quanzhou, Fujian™© Province, to manufact"‌ure modern trams, and agreed with Quaγ<₹♥nzhou City to build modern tram lσ♥ines in Quanzhou City in BT m& ←"ode. At present, CNR-T∑δεangzhou is pushing forward t↕¥he construction of tramway tourism liβ±δne project in Wuyi New District✔€ of Nanping City. CSR Tang Che also ↕ has orders in foreign countries. In €∞December 2012, it sign®≈$•ed a procurement contract for 10♣↓0% low-floor trams for the cit≥±y of Samsun, Turkey, and the first tr↕≠ain was shipped to Turkey on 2↔"₩ 9 November 2013 by ai₹±₹✘r.
